Job Summary

The Implementation Engineer III is responsible for debugging, testing and supporting software utilized throughout material handling solutions and integrating the software with third party applications. Commissions solutions within defined budgets and aggressive timelines while following project standards and best practices. Works closely with the Software/Electrical engineering team to integrate control solutions. Leads jobs onsite. Consults with Implementation manager on staffing.

 

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Reside in or near Savannah, GA
  • Authorized to Work in the U.S. without Sponorship
  • Have at least 3-5yrs.Material Handling Industry experience

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the role and within the team. This includes the capability to lead the design process, creating a solution that meets client business requirements. 
  • Ability to lead a team of implementation engineers through the project lifecycle. 
  • Responsible for debugging, testing, and supporting software utilized throughout material handling solutions. 
  • Lead implementation efforts while working with various teams during the complete cycle of implementation. Including working directly and communicating with project managers and clients.

Work closely with the Software/Electrical engineering team to integrate control solutions. 

  • Perform and lead integration with third party applications
  • Deliver solutions within defined budgets and aggressive timelines while adhering to project standards and best practices. 
  • Provide product and on-call support as required.
  • The position requires traveling up to 75% as needed to implement and deploy products at customer sites.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 5years of related experience in Material Handling Industry/Distribution Centers and warehouse, or related field. 
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Have 5+years in application development using Microsoft technologies
  • Experience with ASP.net, AJAX,  Java Script, JQuery,  & HTML5 would be a plus.
  • Be adaptable, have great team work, ability and willingness to adopt new skills.
  • Have excellent understanding of computer science design patterns and ability to develop objected-oriented design patters.
  • Experience of real-time control software architectures embedded RTOS application design using threads and inter-process communication. Structured code, abstraction, device drivers, etc.
  • Experience with version control system (Team Foundation Server) TFS
  • Experience with developing inter-process communication ( TCP/IP socket of WCF)
  • Experience with Mobile Software Development.
  • Experience with WPF and XAML Technologies.
